Do I have to be an ORSA member?

No, just leave the ORSA member number on the match sign-up sheet blank.

 

   

Do I have to be an IPSC/USPSA member?

No, just leave the USPSA member # field on the match sign-up sheet blank. If you will/have sign up for USPSA membership within 2 weeks of the match date write "pending" in the USPSA member # field on the match sign-up sheet

 

   

What is required to be able to shoot?

A pistol of at least 9mm caliber, eye and ear protection, a holster, 4 magazine pouches, and you need to bring your own ammo.

 

   

Can Ladies or Juniors shoot?

Individual Categories:

Categories approved for individual recognition are as follows:

(a) Lady

(b) Junior Competitors who are under the age of 21 on the first

day of the match

US(b) USPSA Junior Competitors who are under the age of 18 on the first

day of the match

(c) Senior Competitors who are over the age of 50 on the first

day of the match

(d) Super Senior Competitors who are over the age of 60 on the first

Can someone come to watch, or can a shooter bring a friend to watch?

Yes, and Yes. you will need eye and ear protection(impact resistant proscription glasses, or good sunglasses is ok(cheap earplugs, supermarkets sell them)

 

   

How much ammo should I bring?

USPSA: Round count is typically around 115,  Bring at least 200 rounds to be on the safe side. Sometimes stages will need to be re-shot due to a gun malfunction, or range malfunction.
Steel Challenge: 200 - 320 for experienced shooters. With currently 8 stages, with 5 runs each, thats 200 rounds (if you never miss) and 320 rounds with 3 misses per run. If your new to steel challenge and are a newer shooter better bring at least 350 rounds
